Dress the light
This project was about making a piece that could display light by only using the material plakene. Plakene is a plastic material that can not be glued or melted easily. So to make this lamp you would have to find other solutions to be able to build a shape like folding or wire etc.
My approach
I started this project by making small pieces first and figuring out many ways to hold the shapes together. I found a shape that I liked the most. Not only because of the look but I also liked the way the light was acting inside this shape.
To get to my final lamp I started experimenting with how many of the base shapes I would use and how to place them. For my final prototype I made a bigger layout for the pieces that I would need. I then started working on the actual piece. I chose to use wire to keep the structure because the tension in the base pieces was really high.
